She’s back!

Just as I was thinking about her, I got a text message saying “Dear, I’m back!”. I was wondering who it was, because her name did not show in my phone. I don’t know why either. I was expecting someone close, so I decided to give that unknown number a call. And it was her, Adeline. Woohoo…I’m so happy that she really did call me as soon as she’s back. But this bitch of mine will be flying off to HK today. So I have very little time to catch up with her, till she’s back about a week later. Even then, she’ll be doing her internship in PWC, which means I still can’t spend much time with her. Well maybe, over the weekends we could.

We met up a while to yam cha and she managed to tell me a word or two about how she has been. Ooh, and this sweetie got me Tim Tams and doughnut. Yummylicious!! But it’s sinful though; all the calories would be piling up. As for now, I’m just waiting for her to be free so that we can do all our girly stuff together. Not to forget, Fei as well. It makes me feel delighted when I’m around with my girls.

Holidays

It has been more than a month of holidays. Many things had happened. Cheryl was supposed to blog about our shopping session in bangsar we had with Yen Sun. But guess she's too busy with that. And since it has been a long time, I don't remember much to write about it. All I remember is that we had a great time trying on clothes and taking photos!! =) Cheryl is now in China for holidays. Prof Lim Hsien Leng is back from Singapore. But we all had yet to have an outing together since everyone do not have a common free time.

I had been working on and off. One was for one weekend only in Digital Mall. Another one was in PC Fair. And there was one more, in ICT Exhibition. The one in Digital Mall and ICT Exhibiton were chilling ones, but that in PC Fair was a pretty tiring one though. As for now, I'm still looking for event jobs. Preferably those with shorter working hours. Standing for long hours can be really tiring.

I'm looking forward for a holiday actually. Sorry MUMs, could not join you all to Genting, Malacca and Langkawi. I would love to go to some beaches or highlands. These places can be relaxing, with the nice scenery and low temperatures. I'm missing you people, the Cheryls. My babe and my sister. Would love to have karaoke sessions with you girls. Nevertheless, shopping is something we all have not done together for a long time as well!! Not to mention, Prof Lim and also the others. And to the rest like Adeline and Wen Fei, I'm just waiting for you all to come back, and we can party together! One more thing before I sign off, there are some things which is more than it meets the eye. So, don't jump to conclusions quickly. Till then. =)

Exams

exams started on 26th of October and had ended on the 6th of November. day in, day out we had been studying. most of the time, we study in the library, from morning till night. and once, in centrepoint mcds. well, of course we girls arent that hardworking and study every minute we spend in the library. occasionally, we'll Facebook! that's like a routine. and nonetheless, there will be us chatting and giggling.

the library is indeed a conducive place to study. we had our favourite spot on level 1, where we can look out from the glass, overlooking the grass. seeing the sun in the morning and also when it sets in the evening. then we moved to another spot on level 2, whereby we have some computers opposite us. this means more convenience to Facebook! =p and the last favourite spot is the group study room 2 on level 2! though we tried the group study room on level 3, the one on level 2 is still the best! group study room gives us more piracy. meaning, we can talk a lil louder, have discussions, sit in any weird position that makes us comfy!! we also had mcds in there!! thats' a short review on exams..upnext: shopping after exams!!

Recharging..

Sometimes, after a hectic day, a stressful week or an emotional time that we've gone through, it's really good to go out and have some fun. To recharge. Just spending time with your friends can be really meaningful. The company really matters. And I appreciate all of you girls and guys. =)

So there we were, last saturday, for dinner in Dragon-I, The Curve. Those who were present were yen sun, jolene, jason, adrian, simon and yung lin. We had lovely "siu long paus".. They are heavenly tasty!! I don't mind having them as my main course!! Just that I would need lots of them before I can be full.

Then after dinner, we were deciding where to go. Sanctuary? Laundry? Apartment? Haha..after much of a long discussion, we finally decided to go to Laundry. Natalie then came in and join us. But Jason left though. We had tequila! Jose Cuervo Especial. We had them with mango and orange. Also, we had our self-made tequila shots!

The dance floor was rather empty. We were kinda shy to dance at first cause there were very few people dancing. But after one or two more bunch of people got to the dance floor, we girls went there dancing too. And the boys join in much later. It was really fun dancing with the girls. Seeing each other having lotsa fun was a bonus.

We had a sleepover in yen sun's place. All of us were tired out. So there were not much of talking before we sleep. Recharged now! Well, hopefully. =)

Lizard on Waja

For the past few nights, cheryl and i have not been sleeping well. that's cause we were rushing to finish up our environmental science assignment on sunday and doing bio and chem lab reports on monday. It was indeed tiring these few days.

Oh well, every cloud has a silver lining. For those two days, I had a sleep over in Cheryl's place! It was fun doing assignments together, er yea, we did Facebook as well (but it was only for a while!!). Having sleepovers is fun. If not cause of the work we had to do, it would be even more fun. Nevertheless, I enjoyed myself there in her house!! Thanks babe for letting me stay over.

Well, you may be asking, why lizard on waja? Have you heard of the movie Snakes on Plane? Well, we have a lizard on (between actually) Cheryl's hot waja. When Cheryl came home with me for me to get my stuff, she saw the body of the lizard on the back seat door. Half of it. The back legs and tail was sticking out. And it looked like the frog we dissected. (maybe the frog is back to haunt us after we dissected it!) Then, I called my maid to open the car door as both Cheryl and I were afraid to do so. And then I was happily snapping photos of the lizard. =) Finally, my maid took the lizard away!! Poor lizard. Just die like that. Patric could be the lizard's murderer. Cause he was the one who close that door earlier. Hmm..the lizard might haunt Pat. Beware, Pat!!

Reunion

oh it's wednesday night tomorrow, well practically today as it's past twelve. and it's the day where we will all meet up with hsien leng, aka prof lim for dinner in murni. yummylicious! plus all of us would be able to meet up. okay, it sound as though we had not been seeing each other for long. but yea, i do love hanging out with this bunch of people. they are those who can make you laugh non-stop. really. one joke after another. and when we talk about it the next time, we can go on laughing again.

come to think of prof lim studying in singapore, next year i would be missing out from most of them. why? cause they would be going to australia!! yen sun@mydear would be going for a year, cheryl@mybabe would be going for one sem, jolene would be taking a break to do food science and simon is transferring there (i think). well, some of you may think that it's just for a short time, but still. i had been with them for almost a year, well not really a year, considering that i know them probably in late march or even later. we spend most of our breaks together. plus, most of us have almost similar timetable in the first sem and 100% exact timetable this sem. occasionally, we have outings together too. and each time we have them, it is an unforgettable one. i would say the most lovely one would be the one in Genting!

sorry ya if this sound too emo. i know, separation is part and parcel of life. and it's for the better that they leave. well, they will come back. i'm happy that they are leaving for the better. but my dear and babe (you know who you are), i miss you lots! you people better not forget me!! love ya lots. <3

Frog Dissection (17th september)

It was a Monday during Biology 1022 lab session. Cheryl and I were both sick but we still made it for class that day. Nothing much to be said, except the fact that we were at first afraid of cutting up the frog, as it was breathing really hard, even when it's pinned down with chloroform. And that our frog nearly jump up while we were dissecting it half way!! Luckily, the lab technician was nearby and he held it down and put some chloroform on the frog. And, we could not determine the gender of our frog as we can neither find it's testis or ovary. Lol.. hilarious..
