Reunion

oh it's wednesday night tomorrow, well practically today as it's past twelve. and it's the day where we will all meet up with hsien leng, aka prof lim for dinner in murni. yummylicious! plus all of us would be able to meet up. okay, it sound as though we had not been seeing each other for long. but yea, i do love hanging out with this bunch of people. they are those who can make you laugh non-stop. really. one joke after another. and when we talk about it the next time, we can go on laughing again.

come to think of prof lim studying in singapore, next year i would be missing out from most of them. why? cause they would be going to australia!! yen sun@mydear would be going for a year, cheryl@mybabe would be going for one sem, jolene would be taking a break to do food science and simon is transferring there (i think). well, some of you may think that it's just for a short time, but still. i had been with them for almost a year, well not really a year, considering that i know them probably in late march or even later. we spend most of our breaks together. plus, most of us have almost similar timetable in the first sem and 100% exact timetable this sem. occasionally, we have outings together too. and each time we have them, it is an unforgettable one. i would say the most lovely one would be the one in Genting!

sorry ya if this sound too emo. i know, separation is part and parcel of life. and it's for the better that they leave. well, they will come back. i'm happy that they are leaving for the better. but my dear and babe (you know who you are), i miss you lots! you people better not forget me!! love ya lots. <3

Monash Ball Film Noir (21st september)
yen sun n i met up to do our hair n makeup. i got lost in kepong!! haha.. i reached Mandarin Oriental at about 6.30 p.m., so early because i had to manage the ticketing counter. missed the speeches and first performance. nevertheless, the nite was fun, filled with great performances and nice people. let the pics do the talking:

Cheryl's 19th Birthday (21st september)

we all (BSc of Medical Bioscience / Biotechnology 1st year, 2nd sem students) met up at the drop-off station of Monash before leaving to the birthday girl's house. while waiting, here's what we did:

Frog Dissection (17th september)

It was a Monday during Biology 1022 lab session. Cheryl and I were both sick but we still made it for class that day. Nothing much to be said, except the fact that we were at first afraid of cutting up the frog, as it was breathing really hard, even when it's pinned down with chloroform. And that our frog nearly jump up while we were dissecting it half way!! Luckily, the lab technician was nearby and he held it down and put some chloroform on the frog. And, we could not determine the gender of our frog as we can neither find it's testis or ovary. Lol.. hilarious..

Well, i guess i'll leave the pics part to cheryl as she has the pics!

rush hour shopping

last thursday, cheryl, patric and i went shopping in sunway pyramid. it was a short and rushing one as i had to leave at 5 pm and we only left from uni to pyramid at around 4 plus... nevertheless, it was a fun-filled shopping moment, though i left quite late, prolly around 5.40 pm? haha.. well, it does not matter as i think the time spent shopping there was worthwhile =)

i was shopping for a pair of heels actually, which i impulsively want to buy at that time. anyhow, i love that pair of heels very much, and it is indeed a pair of sexy heels. =) no regrets getting it. thanks so much cheryl, for the assistance in helping me to get that pair of heels. thanks patric, for spending your time there with us, and sorry to make u unable to get your food.

well, it's the weekend now. time to enjoy but not forgetting our lab reports once again. and chemistry web test. mundane life. but who's to blame? we're interested in doing science. well, with all those stress that we have, we would need somethings to destress. here comes my favourite line, stressed*desserts.

the beginning..

finally our blog is up, thanks to patric and kai lin! cheryl and i had been talking about a blog where we both share when we were working for hotlink. it was really a long time ago. anyway, despite all our work in our hectic course, hopefully we will manage to update our blog frequently and not let it die!! lol.. =)

we're now in library actually, supposed to do our overdue lab reportSssS.. two lab reports! this week had been tough. especially tuesday. we had 2 lab reports, 1 mid-sem test (20%) and 1 bio essay. well, of course we din finish. that's why we're still in library now.

all that which stressed us up. we're stressed. and now we shall need desserts. stressed*desserts. till then..
